Japan: Shibuya and Roppongi.

The main strip, Dogenzaka, heading to Shibuya station.

Our waitress when we accidentally went into a really expensive sushi bar.  But man it was some good sushi!

Melt in your mouth goodness.

Japanese curry.  No offense but it wasn't good.

The famous "Hachiko Crossing" out in front of Shibuya station.  Anyone who's seen Lost in Translation should recognize it.

The three of us were lucky enough to have found a small studio apartment in the heart of Shibuya.  It was literally a 5 minute walk from Shibuya station.  It was great being able to stay so close to the center of Tokyo, especially Shibuya.  Shibuya is a major fashion center and the home of numerous clubs and bars.  Gina you'd love it here!  You could probably blend in with the rest of the Shibuya girls!  Anyways, it was pretty cool being able to stay in this district.  The three of us didn't party a whole lot but who could come to Shibuya and not go clubbing or bar hopping at least once right.  So we hit up a small club in Shibuya called club Atom which just happened to be right around the corner from our pad.  It was fun, expensive as hell, but fun.  We pre-drank at the pad and headed on over for happy hour.  Too bad around 1230 it got so packed that we could barely even move.  At least we didn't have to walk very far to get home.

At Gaspanic.

Again at Gaspanic.
The other major party scene in Tokyo is Roppongi, Tokyo's red light district.  For all of those who been there, you know what I'm talking about.  Roppongi is unlike any other place in Japan.  It's full of foreigners and loaded with bars, clubs, and numerous strip clubs.  Its probably the only place in Japan where random pimps and touts will come up to you and offer you all manner of "entertainment".  We went to a cheap foreign friendly bar called Gaspanic.  I don't actually remember much from that night because... well... let's just say me and whiskey are not good friends.  Had 6 shots or so at the pad then headed out to the bar.  Not a good idea.  Ended up puking in the bathroom and on the street.  We headed home about 2 or 3 in the morning and had a very entertaining walk from Roppongi to Shibuya.  I think I tried to steal a bike, molest the Hachiko statue, and... mmm... oh yeah Chantra "accidentally" spilled boiling water on my thigh.  All in all.  A great night!  ;)

Me and Hachiko.

At club Atom.

Club Atom.  Is Tim throwing up gang signs?  ;)

The long walk home.

If this is an information center, then why is it for 18 and older only?  Hmmmm?
